Here is our project to
redo the hallway!
Well...actually it is MY
project... Max will do the hard work! ;)
Pannelleremo con delle
perline (che dipingeremo di bianco)
il muro dietro la nicchia, e
applicheremo sopra agli appendiabiti
un mobile delle serie Hemnes di Ikea
(come quello usato per le scarpe)
in cui vorrei stivare guanti/berretti/sciarpe etc.
in apposite ceste foderate con lo stesso
tessuto usato per la tenda che nasconde
le scarpe.
We will panel the wall of the niche
and we will hang a shelf (from Ikea like the
sideboard) upon the hooks.
There I will put all the scarves/hats/gloves etc.
in white baskets lined with the same fabric
used for hiding the shoes.
Il risultato dovrebbe essere un mobile
di stile country chic, carino da vedere (si spera!),
ma soprattutto funzionale alle esigenze della
nostra famiglia!

Per quanto riguarda la parete opposta,
sotto lo specchio fisseremo una mensola
che tratterò in modo tale da shabbarla
sui toni del grigio (che è uno dei colori
dell'ingresso) e alla quale
vorrei applicare delle staffe in metallo
come quelle nella foto qui sotto, ma chiare.
As regards the opposite wall, we will hang
a shelf under the mirror. I will paint it grey
and add a couple of metal brackets
like the ones in the picture below, but bright.
